For a long time it is understood that communicating information is more effective by means of visual representations. Kahnemann and Tversky [1] present several cases for severe and systematic errors in processing statistical information. They already suggested the use of graphical depictions to better convey complex relations. In the case of the Simpson’s Paradox relations between properties within subgroups and the specific relation of the subgroups themselves lead to an an overall distribution suggesting the opposite relation of properties as within the subgroups. The project aims offering new tools to communicate research results dealing with that particular problem.
